High-Volume Maintenance & Bulk Efficiency

The 5-gallon pail is specifically designed for facility managers and contractors handling extensive court restoration. Specifically, this bulk size is the most cost-effective choice for long longitudinal cracks or multi-court facilities. Additionally, the silica-fortified formula ensures a high-traction finish that remains flush with the existing surface. Consequently, this prevents the trip hazards often associated with inferior, shrinking fillers.

Installation Protocol

  1. Mechanical Cleaning: Remove all oxidized asphalt, vegetation, and debris from the crack. Therefore, ensure the substrate is dry and structurally sound before application.  For deep cracks, a backer rod can be used.  It is recommended the backer rod is 25-30% wider than the crack so it can be firmly placed in the crack and is pressed down a minimum of 3/4″ from surface level.
  2. Application: Use a handheld trowel or scraper to pack the material. Specifically, you must ensure total void saturation. As a result, the repair will resist future moisture infiltration.
  3. Finishing: Run your tool firmly along the surface to remove excess material.  you ensure the repair height matches the surrounding court surface.

Operational Constraints

  • Layering: For cracks exceeding 1″ in depth, apply in 1″ increments. Furthermore, allow each lift to dry fully before the next pass.
  • Weather Integrity: Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours. Additionally, avoid application in extremely high humidity, as this will significantly extend the cure time.
  • Surface Match: The filler is color-matched to standard recreational pigments. However, slight variations can occur due to the UV age of the existing court coating.

Cold Weather & Shipping Compliance

1 review for Tennis Court Crack Repair (five gallons)

  1. Lachlan (verified owner)

Great for shallow cracks, when we tried to apply it too thickly, it would not dry. However, when we added more concrete to the bottom of our 2 in deep crack and brought the level to 1/4 in below the court surface, the acrylic crack repair dried as indicated on the directions.
