To ensure a lasting bond, you must clean all cracks thoroughly. For depths exceeding one inch, we recommend installing a backer rod (25-30% wider than the crack) pressed down a minimum of 3/4″ from the surface to prevent sub-surface erosion.
Proper compaction is vital. Use a flexible handheld scraper to pack the material firmly and eliminate all air pockets. This ensures the repair remains flush and resists settling over time.
Cure Time: Material is typically touch-dry in 2 hours at 80°F+, but we recommend a 24-hour wait time before resuming athletic activity.
