This clearance helps you bypass dirt or debris that often collects in older sleeves.  The Legacy Series net posts include net posts collars, which allow you to adjust the height of the posts.  This is particularly useful when a court gets an asphalt overlay and the original net posts sleeves are no longer set at the correct height.
